Hi, I’m Julie.... and I’m a Paintaholic! I’m a furniture & canvas artist and when I'm in my studio with a paint brush in my hand - I'm in my happy place!

Canvas art is my first love! I especially love painting people, pet portraits, and angels with big textured wings!   I use a combination of acrylics & clay-based chalk paint and love experimenting with different mediums and styles.  I also do custom work!  If you'd like a fabulous painting of your fur baby, or one of my angels, or a favorite picture - send me a message and let's talk!

I love the thrill of finding an old, unloved piece of furniture and breathing new life into it! Depending on my mood, my style is anywhere from vintage, distressed, with lots of texture... or a whimsical piece of art with colorful flowers & dragonflies.... or a timeless, classic beauty. Whatever style, there's always layer & layers of paint, and often I will add clay furniture moulds, raised stencils or stamps to give the furniture lots of character and a one-of-a-kind look!   I also do custom work!  If you have an old, tired piece of furniture that needs a new look - I can make that happen!  I paint with high-quality, clay-based chalk paint that is free of all VOC's on my furniture!
